It depends on the train operator. Sadly, many already operate Driver Only services despite this breaching equality laws.

It absolutely does not David, however much the media narrative may imply that staff are to blame, this is solely down to train operators not employing sufficient staff and favouring the bottom line over providing the service they’re contracted to deliver.
