Mr Millinchip Rachel Johnson PiXL Yes - the chapters in Rachel’s book are really manageable - & we might sit with a chapter for a few weeks so there isn’t always reading every week. The pre-read is always highlighted to SLT so it’s never a surprise. I expect SLT to be regularly engaging with reading/research.

Paul McCahill Rachel Johnson PiXL The HoDs recently read this in LM: hbr.org/2018/01/why-we… which generated really useful conversations about healthy conflict. We normally have a main text, with other texts which enrich/link/contrast.

Paul McCahill We started the year with The Advantage, and have moved to Rachel Johnson PiXL’s great book. We then discuss key passages/chapters that are particularly relevant to our context in SLT meetings. It’s all a drive to ensure leaders are readers. It’s basically accountable reading!
