Thinking about this again. What plagues so much of modern gaming is how they write and design like they're always in earshot of HR and have never had a human interaction. Its all so fake, a clean facade of surface level quips, small talk, acceptability and smoothed out politeness

After some help from the awesome Madness! I was able to stabilize my DDR5 kit at 6800 MT/s with tuned timings & thankfully it performs better than the unstable DDR5-7600 CL36 XMP profile (& MUCH better than DDR4-3600 CL36) as these CPU limited benchmarks at 720p can attest to:

Yikes the full release of FF XVI on PC is looking quite rough. Insane stutters & frametime spikes (possibly related to PSO compilation stutters) & very subpar perf for the visuals (drops to ~40 FPS on a 3080 at 1440p DLAA). Looks like game devs just can't optimize games anymore.

Another big hint that this game is terribly optimized: both of these games are running on the same hardware at 1440p with Quality DLSS upscaling and frame generation at the same performance level, yet one of them looks way more visually impressive than the other:

After 80 hours, I have finally wrapped up Black Myth Wukong with True Ending, I really don't have any words to describe how I feel about this game I just want to say that it's a masterpiece and already in my Top 5! Everything about this game is perfection 10/10, Must play!

People say that we shouldn't include sub services when calculating console prices but I can't imagine gaming anymore without cloud saves even if you don't like multiplayer. When I didn't have steam, I used to back up my save files, consoles don't give that option afaik.
