*ARJUN GOT THE BRAHMASHIR ASTRA

Ashwatthama was the most knowledgeable about the mysteries of Dhanurveda. NAKUL & SAHDEV were the best in handling the sword. Yudhishthir was the best in fighting from the chariot. But ARJUN was the best in all arts of fighting among all.

Although, Dronacharya had taught equally to his all disciples still Arjun was the most proficient & skilled in all forms,among all, because of his wisdom, enthusiasm, power , respect of Guru and devotion towards learning & Practice. Dhritarashtr's sons were wicked and evil.

went to Ganga Snan along with his disciples.When he was taking a dip in the river,a crocodile caught his calf .Though he was capable enough to get rid off the situation but he didn't do so and said to his disciples to save him. Before any other disciple could even think of

taking any action, Veebhatsu (Arjuna) immediately hit that Underwater Crocodile with 5 Amogh & sharp arrows. Dronacharya was very impressed & pleased to see Arjuna's proactiveness.The crocodile got cut into many pieces due to Arjun's powerful arrows,he released drona's calf

and died . Then Dronacharya gifted the BRAHMASHIR weapon to Arjun and told the qualities and usage of this extremely powerful Astra. He warned him to not to use this weapon on humans as if this weapon was used on a weak person then it could reduced the entire world

ashes along with that man. So he advised him to use that weapon only on Amanav. Arjuna said 'Tathastu ' nd he humbly accepted the weapon .
Dronacharya said to Arjun,once again that No other will be a great archer than you,in this entire world.
