Yesterday it was confirmed an Israeli F-35 fighter jet – made in part in Britain – was instrumental in a recent attack on a "safe zone" in Gaza, killing 90 people. Hours later the UK government refused to suspend licences pertaining to F-35s. ALL arms sales to Israel must end.

Union activists should never rely on the law to defend members or win better pay, equality & safety. Our strength comes from organising with our co-workers to take collective action. BUT when negotiating, we should always have the best & most up to date information Labour Research Dept

.Matt Wrack is completely right. Despite being 7 years on from Grenfell very little has changed. This week our new Government has a chance to change that. I hope that they respond to the Grenfell Inquiry with action to protect lives.

The GKN factory occupation in Florence started out as industrial action to save jobs. After 3 years it has transformed into worker led just transition. From capitalist manufacture of luxury sports car components to mutual aid for a non carbon economy. Can’t beat the rank & file✊

I spoke to the rally at #Kensington Town Hall this evening. We are still digesting the report in full. It demonstrates clearly how decades of Govt failings, deregulation & prioritisation of profit over people led to the loss of lives. Recommendations must go further #Grenfell💚

The Grenfell Inquiry report calls out manufacturers like Arconic, Kingspan, and Celotex for manipulating test data and deceiving people about the safety of their products. It is so similar to the deception of asbestos manufacturers, like Cape, still killing people every year.
