Wes Streeting seems to hate the NHS youtu.be/bsMh5PA77ck?si… via YouTube I believe in the NHS. Why doesn't Wes Streeting?

Financial Capital is not scarce youtu.be/VOQ0wO3K6BU?si… If money is not scarce, and is created costlessly by banks, why are we paying so much for it? Is doing so completely contrary to our well-being? Lord Keynes certainly thought so.

Do we need to learn trigonometry? Wouldn't it be more useful to learn how tax or budgeting works? youtube.com/shorts/XyKprhh…

Politics in the UK should not be for sale youtu.be/UzmWQ3mmDYU?si… The first-past-the-post electoral system is a massive obstacle to democracy in the UK, but corporate donations are almost as significant. The time when corporate donors can buy power in the UK should be over, for

Keir Starmer has made it clear we are all, in his opinion, dependent on those who want to get rich at cost to the rest of us. in other words, he’s going all out for utterly discredited trickle down economics that is guaranteed to deliver increasing inequality.

How many iPhones do we need? youtu.be/bPUfjcJVFA4?si… Do we really need more iPhones? Or do we actually need more health and social care, education, and so much else that generates remarkably little carbon? Sometime soon, we are going to have to decide.

I don’t do party politics, but I always expected Labour to broadly represent at least some of my views, like a belief in a strong mixed economy in which the state plays a significant role. Now it seems Labour doesn’t believe in government, at all. And I don’t enjoy saying so.

Did anyone else notice that the Tory reforms to the non-dom tax rules were lost when the election was called? What will Labour do now? Or will they cave to their rich friends, as Gordon Brown did in 1997?

Do our politicians know that most people do not go to work in hi-viz jackets and hard hats? It doesn’t seem so.

Keir Starmer comes across as untruthful, a procrastinator and a man without a shred of principle. But at least we now know that. taxresearch.org.uk/Blog/2024/06/0… The true Keir Starmer would seem to have revealed himself

New survey from NHS Confed shows 61% of trusts have to cut staff numbers (including clinical staff) to make the books balance after a record decade of underinvestment.

Marry it up: get on top of waiting lists with less staff?

The NHS is being dumbed down youtube.com/shorts/_OCS7pZ… Wes Streeting is, if he’s not careful, going to permit the biggest medical scandal in NHS history by permitting underqualified staff to undertake work for which they are not properly

Wes Streeting is wrong youtu.be/1NildKhH_w0?si… He thinks the NHS is riddled with obedient compliance that lets wrongdoing happen. He's right, except that he's wrong to say this is an NHS problem. It's a problem of a class-ridden society where everyone is told they may not
