My heart goes out to the poor man who felt the need to jump off Scammonden Bridge, but there must be ways to prevent further repeats of this. Spent almost 5 hours in the car so far due to #M62 closure most of it in Barkisland. Lovely place, but locals must despair!

This brilliant boy of mine has spent two years growing his hair. He was regularly mistaken for a girl and teased mercilessly but he shrugged it off because he had a plan. Yesterday he chopped it off to give to Little Princess Trust so it could be used to make a wig for a child with cancer.
