Mind your language when discussing car collisions. 'Crash' or 'incident' is more accurate than 'accident'. 'Accident' suggests that compensation can be claimed for trivial and unforeseeable mishaps, this perpetuates the idea that claiming for personal injury is greedy and wrong.
