For #BlackHistoryMonth , RAF Personnel visited CommonwealthWarGraves Runnymede to honour the 20,458 personnel who lost their lives in World War II.

It was especially moving for Air Recruit Withers, whose great uncle was one of the named servicemen at the memorial. More: bit.ly/3f7iIGz

Recently, 6 Squadron RAF Lossiemouth visited India, where pilots had the opportunity to fly joint sorties with Indian Su-30MKI Flanker and Rafale EH fighter aircraft. This interoperability training with Indian Air Force followed the conclusion of Exercise #PitchBlack22 in Australia.

47 Squadron crew recently flew their C-130J Hercules from RAF Brize Norton to RNAS Yeovilton to run an Air Landed Arming and Refuelling Point (ALARP).

An ALARP allows aircraft to take on fuel where it usually wouldn’t be available to them. Full story: bit.ly/3TOZzrB

RAF Typhoon & Lightning jets have conducted their largest ever mass firing of Advanced Short Range Air-to-Air Missiles. Over the space of 10 days, pilots from 8 different squadrons successfully launched a total of 53 missiles at target drones. Full story: bit.ly/3Df3MPQ

A new and innovative training course has commenced, which will see the qualification of our first Dedicated Cross-Skilled Technicians on the new Protector RG1 operating from RAF Waddington from 2024. Read more: ow.ly/teLw50LhK6A

The RAF are supporting Exercise Suman Protector, a Five Powers Defence Arrangement (FDPA) Exercise in Singapore. Over 285 personnel from 🇸🇬, 🇲🇾, 🇦🇺, 🇳🇿, & 🇬🇧 are in attendance to share best practices amongst partner nations and develop the operational competencies of FPDA forces.

Last week, His Royal Highness The Duke of Kent visited UK Space Command headquarters at RAF High Wycombe.

He met with personnel from across UK Space Command, including RAF Fylingdales and the UK Space Operations Centre.

The Joint Force Air Component (JFAC) HQ have recently been conducting Exercise Titanium Falcon at RAF High Wycombe.

They worked with Partner Nations as well as UK Land and Maritime forces to test the JFAC’s operational level command and control.

The RAF has launched its first official alumni & networking platform, RAF Galaxy.

It’s a platform for serving, ex-serving, regular & reservists to connect, and keep up to date with sports associations, networks, RAF Stations & Squadrons.
