Police press conference concerning the shooting death of a teenager at the Mott Ave Train Station in Far Rockaway to begin momentarily.

A 15-year-old boy was shot to death on an A train just after 3:45 pm, NYPD confirms.

This occurred at the Far Rockaway-Mott Avenue station. The victim was shot in the chest, PD says.

The NYPD is reporting a 15-year old male has been shot in the chest at the Mott Avenue train station and is in critical condition. The MTA has suspended A-Train service in both directions.

“If the fire truck was coming down…it’s going to have to wait,” he said. While The Wave was speaking with Santana, a car attempted to pull into a parking spot, creating a standstill down to Mott Avenue. “This is what we see every day,” he said.
