Reminder! The Holmlund Prize is still open for submissions from grad students in queer/trans media studies! The winning essay will be published in New Review of Film and Television Studies. All submissions receive close attention from the selection committee. Send your 6,500 words to [email protected]!
We are thrilled to announce the 2023 Holmlund Graduate Student Writing Prize: Adin Walker (Stanford TAPS), "Flowers, Concrete, Water: Care and Precarity in Tsai Ming-liang’s: 'I Don’t Want to Sleep Alone' (2006)." The essay will be published in the New Review of Film and Television Studies Summer '24 issue!
