So excited for this issue! Also wild to see this pic pop up on twitter this morning. Summer 2013, flowers from my garden in the kitchen of the house where Country Queers: An Oral History Project was born. It's the inspiration for the Country Queers book cover & I re-shot a similar image just yesterday.
