37 SEN children still without confirmed school places just 1 week before term starts: - 3 nursery - 18 P1 - 16 Yr8 Each case affects a family & support network, impacting hundreds of lives. These children will be at home while their peers walk through school gates next week.

Always worth keeping in mind that just because a SEND child has been placed and are no longer one of these stats, it does not mean they are in the correct placement to suit their needs. We do not have the specialist placements available to accommodate SEND need.

SEN Children and Families cannot be left behind. My office has been inundated with complaints from families with SEN Children, who were guaranteed school transport, but have been left without or on a bus for over 2 hours. This situation simply isn’t good enough. 1/2
