I appreciate having the opportunity to take the course 'Leading for Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion' in business school. It's given me a space to reflect on my LMSA West leadership roles and goal of being a physician educator someday involved with diversity initiatives 💭

it was my first LMSA conference yesterday and it’s actually crazy how cool it was to have your mentors speak to you in spanish.. and to feel appreciation the for being impromptu interpreters in the hospital

Very delayed but have to share - new David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA Latino(a)s in Surgery group had its first event at the new CASIT sim center in February.

Over 50 students registered, with faculty and residents from different surgical departments going over suturing and lap skills. 🙌🏾

Glad I have my fellow masters/research year homies and my partner (who also took a year off when he was in med school) to process the unexpected anxious feelings that come from watching your original class match 😮‍💨

So honored to continue my training in OBGYN at UCSF Obstetrics Gynecology & Reproductive Sciences!! It really took a village and I am so thankful for all my family, friends, and mentors who helped me along the way. It was truly special to witness all the love and support from the people around me 🫶 muchas gracias
