Popping up here to say I've blogged about #sepsis and to wave a banner for The UK Sepsis Trust - rachelemoss.com/2024/08/15/sur… - including a plea for donations to this important charity!
Very much looking forward to today’s #placebasedhistories workshop - a collaboration between Centre for the History of People Place & Community HistoryLab+ & Institute of Historical Research . Can’t wait to meet everyone who’s coming & hearing about amazing #interdisciplinary #ECR #placebasedresearch
Co-curating this exhibition has been a lovely way to mark the end of the PhD. It's also a great chance to show off some of the fantastic books and collections Bristol Libraries! If you're down in Bristol, check it out!
Brilliant morning at the Centre for the History of People Place & Community HistoryLab+ & Institute of Historical Research #placebasedhistories workshop. Ed Brookes (Risky_Cities), John Jenkins (StreetLife York) & Dr Kathy Davies (JUSTHEAT Project) talking about placed based histories in interdisciplinary research projects.
Really fantastic afternoon at the #placebasedhistories workshop - including a practical session on doing place based research beyond the academy, thoughts from Michael Howcroft on the future of place-based research & a panel reflecting on questions which have arisen across the day
It was so fun to run a session with Dr Rachel Delman & getting everyone in the room to reflect on the key issues researchers need to think about when collaborating or sharing knowledge with partners & communities beyond the academy
Dr Rachel Delman Very thought provoking beginning to our final session from Michael Howcroft on how the Arts and Humanities Research Council #placeprogramme are working towards people centred place research that contributes to the development of policy that takes place (space with meaning) seriously.
