When running your app (e.g. npm start, etc.) do you do it through your IDE terminal, or through a stand-alone terminal?

Some of you might be struggling with figuring the right architecture for your ecommerce website.
Let's break it down in a simple thread.

Today was my first day working on WebKit at Apple. Squeee! I’m the Eng Manager for Layout and Rendering.

I’ll still be making the web awesome for users and developers, so don’t stop sending me your bugs, complaints, joys, and features requests

Look what they gave me! 🩵💜🩷

Suuuper handy new CSS:

:user-invalid and :user-valid pseudo selectors let you style inputs only once they have been interacted with

Just landed in Chrome + Safari, been in Firefox for years.

Me: this would take at least 20 minutes to do by hand, better write a quick script for it.

Also me, an hour later: OK I'm almost done

As usual with this kind of post, take with a grain of salt…

I tried it on an internal dashboard screenshot, and while it certainly gives you an impressive starting point, it would still take hours of work on top of that to get back to that dashboard's functionality

What's the best data-loading library for React for a use case where you need to regularly update the data either via polling or some kind of subscription? Does tanstack-query support this?

I can't wait until we can finally statically render 100% of a page on the server, with no client-side JavaScript required!

Can you imagine? Entire websites loading in less than 10 seconds! The future is exciting!

This is the architecture for a JS framework able to statically render all the content that can actually be statically rendered
This generalizes the current generation of frameworks that statically render only based on route params

I always feel tired, I have brain fog, bad memory, I'm irritable, a bit depressed… but I can't tell if it's because of long COVID or just having young kids
