#InjusticesAgainstBalochContinue Today as Respected Sammi Deen Baloch with valid papers was to leave for Muscat from Karachi Airport. She was not only stopped but detained for four hours and unjustly questioned. They think they can stop Baloch Rights Movement with ECLs. #HowFoolish
Such ridiculous tactics will further strengthen Baloch grievances, Sammi Deen Baloch is a peaceful activist and from almost last 2 decades seeking recovery of her father abducted by the agencies. She was given award in UK recently, if she haven’t took asylum there then why now?
This is entirely unacceptable. Sammi Deen Baloch must be removed from the exit control list. Imposing such travel restrictions violates fundamental rights, including individual freedom. Pakistan should take note that its GSP+ status could be at risk if such practices persist.

I am deeply concerned that human rights defender Sammi Deen Baloch was prevented from travelling this week. For now, she can't leave Pakistan. I call on the authorities to ensure she is able to travel freely and without fear of reprisal, particularly when engaging with UN actors.
