As threats continue to evolve, Homeland Security is committed to providing state, local, tribal and territorial governments, as well as transportation authorities and nonprofit organizations, with vital resources to help them strengthen our nation’s security and preparedness.

Yesterday I had a great meeting with Argentinian Minister Patricia Bullrich to advance our security cooperation. Argentina helps lead regional efforts to disrupt transnational organized crime and other illicit activity. We are grateful for its partnership in this shared mission.

Today I met with Hans Leijtens to discuss our vital collaboration in strengthening border and maritime security. Our continued cooperation with Frontex—from information sharing to law enforcement cooperation—is critical to addressing our shared security challenges.

We are dedicated to ensuring a fair playing field for American businesses. Through strengthened enforcement measures, enhanced inspection and testing, and increased information sharing, this Administration is protecting thousands of American workers and the U.S. textile industry.
