It's no secret that retail theft has reached crisis levels in California and that's why I'm so proud a robust package of 10 public safety bills was signed into law today, including my #SB1242, which gives law enforcement the tools they need to successfully prosecute these crimes.

Americans deserve leaders that put public interest above their self-interests, and Senator Dave Min and I are both fighting to end corruption. Earlier this month, we called on the Assembly to pass his bill that would help prevent self-dealing. Now, it's headed to the Governor's desk.
