Today, the Senate passed #SCR110 to recognize #PeaceOfficersMemorialDay . We remember the peace officers who have lost their lives in the line of duty and the families and communities impacted by these tragic losses.

#YomHaShoah honors the victims of the Holocaust. Last week, the Senate honored survivors of the Holocaust and their descendents on the floor, and passed #SCR135 to reflect our commitment to eradicating antisemitism.

Thanks to help from animal lovers like those participating in the 30th annual Walk for Animals, San Diego Humane Society is able to provide more than 40,000 animals with shelter, veterinary care & rehabilitation this year. Lifesaving services for pets & wildlife throughout #SanDiego County.

On #MMIWDay , we remember the indigenous women who have gone missing and been murdered, and recognize the devastating impact this has on their families and communities. We must strengthen our efforts to eliminate violence against indigenous women.

Today, a New York court overturned Harvey Weinstein’s conviction from a pivotal case in the #MeToo movement.

This is an affront to survivors of sexual assault. I stand unequivocally with survivors.
