There is a traffic crash at Ben Hill Griffin Parkway and Miromar Outlet Drive in Estero. At this time, all eastbound lanes and the right southbound lane on Ben Hill Griffin is blocked. Please avoid this area or use caution when traveling through.

There is a Facebook post circulating that King, the pitbull abused by Beckham Mccleod, is being euthanized. It is so important that information is fact checked. King is alive and well and is going to a foster volunteer.

The crash involves a school bus, however no students were on the bus during the crash.

Following a press conference Sheriff Marceno and Hendry Co Sheriff Whidden sat down with Dave Elias to discuss SB 184. It prohibits threatening & harassing 1st responders. Both sheriffs agree constitutional rights are at the forefront but allow LEO to conduct their investigations
