Congratulations on this important trial to Moritz Seiffert and everyone involved! DZHK Germany University Center of Cardiovascular Science (UCCS) UKE Hamburg
I have seen many HF talks listing IAS as an interventional therapy for HF symptoms while AF ablation in HF is often downright dismissed as free of robust evidence in the same talks. Why the disconnect in the community? Bogdan Enache David J. Cohen, MD, MSc Jason Andrade AGEP John Mandrola, MD
Great overview of economic analyses in cardiac electrophysiology. Love the explanations and insightful for everyone interested in this topic. Also thanks for highlighting our CEA of early rhythm control in EAST-AFNET4

Great thread on the history of Brugada Syndrome.
FYI - medical factoid - this was also the inspiration for “The Nightmare on Elm Street”

This Wednesday, my colleagues and I finally finished our European Society of Cardiology MSc at LSE Health Policy. Cannot stress how much I learned there and what a wonderful time I had in London. Thankful for our teachers, our great student group and support from Patrick Ellinor and UKE Hamburg.
Multiple RCTs w/consistent benefits across multiple outcomes is key. Not many treatments meet that bar. Validation across RCTs is the strongest form of evidence we have. Very hard to argue that AF ablation is not class I in HFrEF. Happy to debate anytime/place #cardiotwitter
Great to see a strong showing of Patrick Ellinor lab members works (@LuChenWeng, Sean Jurgens and others) in the AF genetics section :) and for the first time recommendations for genetic testing.
Out now, our latest work on mapping the cardiovascular system at single cell resolution: biorxiv.org/content/10.110…
