On Tuesday the Department for Levelling Up, Housing & Communities wrote to local authorities in relation to their Productivity Plans. The deadline is 19 July and authorities are expected to publish their plans.

The NHS bowel cancer screening kit can detect signs of cancer before you notice anything is wrong.

The kit is automatically posted to everyone aged 60 to 74. The programme is expanding to include those aged 50 to 59 by 2025.

Inflation has fallen - again.

It’s now at 3.2%, the lowest it has been in over two and a half years.

This is just a reminder that the Spring Countryside Show that was due to be held this weekend (Saturday 20th & Sunday 21st April) has been postponed to the new dates of Saturday 8th & Sunday 9th June. 

The necessary postponement is due to unseasonably heavy rainfall.
