Proteomics is the key to understanding cellular activity + MetaMorpheus @metamorpheus.bsky.social is unlocking its full potential with innovative software tools for #SingleCell analysis 💻 🧬
Proteins within cells are complex, but MetaMorpheus @metamorpheus.bsky.social is developing open source software tools to make #SingleCell proteomic data more sensitive + reliable 🌟
The field benefits when teams work together to make high quality, free search tools available. Team Alexey Nesvizhskii is a fun group to collaborate with. Thanks to Dan Polasky for getting the ball rolling.
Ying Ge UW-Madison Chemistry Journal of Proteome Research Thank the reviewers!
Congrats to Isabella Whitworth with side-props to @scienchica, AbenaK-T, et al. for her new study online Journal of Proteome Research IDing host proteins with roles in HBV RNA genome packaging. Another fab viral proteomics collab with MetaMorpheus @metamorpheus.bsky.social. pubs.acs.org/doi/full/10.10…
A fantastic session on women’s initiative and DEI at 2024 Wisconsin Human Proteomics Symposium! Thanks to Lauren and Anna Grace &team for all their hard work! Thanks to all the speakers and panelists! Females in Mass Spectrometry (FeMS) Judith Simcox PhD Amber Mosley Si Wu Michelle Kimple ❤️👍🌸
Also congrats to all the poster awardees: Isabella Whitworth MetaMorpheus @metamorpheus.bsky.social winning the first place 🥇, Matt Fischer Ying Ge Research Lab UW-Madison Chemistry for the 2nd place🥈; Shuangshuang Chen Cy Sweedler lab Chemistry at Illinois and Yutong Bao Andrea Galmozzi lab for 3rd place 🥉🙌🎉👍🎊
I’m excited to see this study in collaboration with NIST published in Analytical Chemistry is out in print! The folks at NIST developed a quantum cascade IR laser for rapid glycan determination. I was happy to contribute some intact mass spec results. Check it out! pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/ac…
