It seems Police Scotland’s national guidance on recording all reports of hate crimes as NCHIs, with no exceptions, has already been abandoned. Absurd laws that only serve the ego and virtue signaling of politicians (instead of the public good) do not work. I wonder how much money…

And what do the 30 recorded “non-crime hate incidents” record? Words so exceptional that they deserve to be recorded but don’t meet the threshold of threatening or abusive once you apply the required consideration for the Art 10 right to say things that are rude, hurtful etc?
