1962-67 West window by John Piper representing River of Life and Tree of Life. Translucent fibreglass panels built up in situ. Quite different effect from stained glass. Apparently crackles during services. 📸: my own #WindowsOnWednesday

Day 6. In the finds processing sessions the students learn how finds are managed during an excavation - sorting, cleaning, marking, recording and packing. On site part of a late medieval window has been found including this painted quarry. Hist&ArchChester
