I don’t think people have fully grasped the ways they’re hurting people with their lack of Covid precautions. And they refuse to grapple w/ the idea that they’re the villain in the story and that people are going to tell them that

Masking is a disability rights issue. Not wearing a mask in crowded spaces automatically excludes many disabled people from accessing the world. I just want disabled people to be able to leave the house.

“Make no mistake, the emergency phase may be over, but COVID-19 is not. … History will not be “kind” to the adults charged with keeping kids healthy and learning in school in the time of COVID-19.” Letter from Dr. Lyne Filiatrault newwestrecord.ca/local-news/let… via The Record

I’m begging people to understand that privilege plays a significant role in one’s ability to survive as a disabled person. In Canada - it also plays a role in whether or not you end up having euthanasia “suggested” to you as a treatment option. 🧵/1

The “Do not comply” folks are in for a big surprise if they ever realize that they are in fact, complying. The Govt. doesn’t want you masking, having access to vaccines, staying home or having clean air. They just want you infected while you spend all your money. Oops.

So happy to see more eyes on these posts with the IMPACT REPORT. Biden dropped Covid mitigations to win an election and Covid snatched him from the race. Facts with receipts that are .gov docs. Link in tweet below.

I walk into a chemist, N95 on as usual, purchase something. The young woman at the checkout is busy spraying and wiping the counter. "Someone just came in who was sick," she explained. I said, "You must get a lot of people coming in sick to fill their prescriptions?" 1/3

Astonishingly, it appears to be growing so fast as a proportion of all sequences that there's a possibility that XEC could be the dominant variant in the UK within another fortnight. That feels like that would have to be a record. Let's see what schools returning does to that

I don’t believe it is the fault of any kid that goes to school for infecting their parent or grandparents. It was the grown ups responsibility to put in place the reasonable expectations for disease control in school. Kids. We failed you… and I am so very sorry for your

I mask as a GP, every moment of my working day . Lunch outside generally, or in a well ventilated room ( wide open windows ) with air filter x 2 on all day. I can’t see how that will ever finish unless sterilising vaccines come out & are widely adopted.

The government line here in England is that it's ok to spread Covid. You're not a sheep if you wear a mask, you're a rebel.

“Educators, if you have a student who is still wearing a mask, they are now part of the "out group" (thank you public health leaders! s/) You can minimize that stress for them by slipping on a mask every now and then. You have no idea how much it would mean to them.” 🧵

One local family have just been told off by their school for testing their kids for covid when they were sick. They were literally shouted at down the phone for testing their children.

Failure is not an option. Act! Too many schools failed to take significant steps to improve indoor air quality, despite the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Improved ventilation can lead to better test scores, grades, and workplace performance. scientificamerican.com/article/kids-a…
