The Trump defense seeking to undermine Daniels by suggesting Trump didn’t give her alcohol or drugs—as if a large 60-year-old man with a bodyguard outside the door did not have power over this 27-year-old woman—is a sad reminder of the appallingly low standards of this human.

Thing is, the NY Times editor can deny a duty to protect democracy, but the paper will be in serious jeopardy if Trump gets back into power.
