Year 1 completed an #EarthDay2024 activity yesterday. They decorated an Earth and a heart before writing some #EarthDay2024 promises. We also read the book ‘10 things I can do to help my world’ by Melanie Walsh 🌎❤️🌍❤️🌏❤️

It is Earth Day 2024 and in worship today we thought about how to be stewards of our world. Children had so many ideas about how to make sustainable choices and were shocked to find out how much impact single-use plastic has on the environment.

Year 4 have looked at the Black Hat in English, about a boy who experiences creatures coming out of his hat whilst he’s asleep. In outdoor learning, they found their own creatures in forest school and practised sketching them, ready to design their own this week in English. 🎩
