Yesterday in Peckham was an incredible resistance. We stopped the Home Office coach taking anyone to the prison barge - and also from taking anyone else at other locations in London. Then we blocked the police for hours and let them know they will not take any one of us easily.

The Home Office showed their fear of us, committing huge resources, with police from all over London - and a helicopter. To those arrested: thank you for standing up. We have your back. We will update on more support soon. Please follow Green & Black Cross for updates on arrestee support

The Home Office will be back - here and elsewhere. We need to maintain a presence in Peckham in case they return - and there will be other attempted removals in the coming weeks. There are also ongoing detentions at Lunar House in Croydon and Eaton House in Hounslow.
