The trunks work well here because the suit is simple, if you overcomplicate tf out the suit like they did for the new Superman movie it really doesn’t work

Goji, that's not Godzilla screaming in pain. That's Godzilla being pissed off that he can't find an opening on Mechagodzilla. Mechagodzilla was doing no damage at all, and had to try to use a kiss of death to even see if he could. Godzilla getting tossed around, sure. No damage.
