Without supervised consumption sites in Ontario, people who use drugs are forced to do so in unsafe conditions, leading to increased preventable deaths. Supervised consumption sites are crucial in preventing overdoses, infections and in providing support to individuals in need.

Between March 2020 and January 2024 supervised consumption sites across Canada reversed 16,180 overdoses with the antidote naloxone.
