Discipline in one thing does not transfer to discipline in all things.

• Discipline in details doesn’t mean discipline in emotions.

• Discipline in emotions doesn’t mean discipline in effort.

• Discipline in failure doesn’t mean discipline in success.

If you want fast growth ask yourself, “Where will it come from?”

Fast growth is possible only through high discipline. No other way.

If you want fast growth you must supply a high level of discipline for 12 months minimum. Every other path is slower and less reliable.

Don't mistake a team culture that is good socially for a team culture that is effective strategically. Your culture must create more than good relationships. It must drive behavior standards that execute and produce excellence.

You are 100% in charge of you.

100% in charge of your decisions, actions, and interactions.

100% in charge of the purpose they serve and direction they aim.

100% in charge of the discipline and skill behind them.

SportSource Analytics Kirk Herbstreit Coaches everywhere talk accountability all the time. It’s a top 3 word they use.

You must not let complaining sneak its way into your life.

If you can solve it, solve it.
If you can endure it, endure it.
If you can’t do either, move on.

But do not complain.

KEVIN! 😱

United Airlines flight attendants in New Orleans just stopped me from pulling a “Home Alone 2”.

Got my gate wrong, tried to board a flight to Newark. But I’m going to Denver, not Newark.

Thankfully these flight attendants were more thorough than the ones in “Home Alone 2”.

Words don’t tell the truth. Actions do.

It’s easy to say you believe something you don’t have to immediately back with action.

Speed, strength, and talent are not enough.

• Fast players with slow minds get beat.

• Strong players with weak discipline get beat.

• Talented players with inferior skills get beat.
