A trooper with THP’s MC+ unit in Giles Co. performed an inspection on a CMV. The trooper detected this broken brake chamber. The unsafe truck was put out of service before the brake chamber had the opportunity to possibly fall onto the roadway where it may have caused a crash.

🚨 Effective July 1, 2024, it's a Class B misdemeanor punishable by a $250 or more fine to operate a vehicle in Tennessee where the front fender is four or more inches higher than the rear fender. Help us keep our roadways safe.
