You see this in literally every corner of the internet now. Zines are big print productions instead of little printable/photocopiable booklets. YouTubers and Podcasters have to have professional quality equipment. What happened to a space where amateurs can have fun and play?

it's cool to look back at my old art every now and then to remind myself that I have in fact improved a lot and am still improving 💪

that 1st one is one of the earliest drawings I did after I got my first tablet and I think it's obvious LMAO I wasn't used to the hand eye coordination I needed to draw with a tablet and I didn't know how to use layer blending modes... I've learned a lot in the last few years :')
