Having students write in longhand OR in a simple text doc (everyone has different abilities//challenges) during class is like giving them caffeine. The ideas and interactions! Of course, it's still early in the semester. A few weeks from now I'll have to ply them with chocolate.

Heading to the Adirondacks tomorrow to be among amazing friends and in cold clear lake water and full of delicious food and drink. We all deserve more gatherings like this with people we love, who bring us joy. Also, some people will be bringing cakes, and that is even better.
