A monument to Shirley Chisholm, the first Black woman to serve in Congress, will go up in Brooklyn’s Prospect Park. Thirty-two feet high, the monument will stand tall, a testament to Chisholm’s unwavering stature in the struggle for an equitable and just society. #blackhistory
