Last week, we had the honor of hosting Dr. Wanda D. Barfield & her team from the CDC! During the meeting, we continued discussions with the CDC about partnering to update Healthy Native Babies (HNB), a federally funded program focused on culturally appropriate safe sleep.

This week, UIHI ceased its work with Seattle Police Department (SPD). SPD has refused to implement UIHI's recommendations for implementing Indigenous data practices, and they have failed to work with the Indigenous community in a productive way. loom.ly/z-OB4gU
