After Neil Codling, to be a guest at one of our events in Brighton, joined Suede, they went on to greater success with the 1996 album Coming Up. It reached number one, included five top ten singles and was their biggest album. Info on the event at the-space.uk

On November 23rd, Josie Lawrence will be a guest at our event in Brighton. She'll be interviewed about improv, including The Comedy Store Players and Whose Line Is It Anyway?. We'll also discuss her acting, such as EastEnders & Good Omens. the-space.uk

Chris Wyatt, the editor of This is England, Shane Meadow's sixth feature, will be with us in Brighton soon. He was BAFTA-nominated for editing the final episode of the TV series This is England '86 and he edited Dead Man's Shoes. Details on the event at the-space.uk

A guest interviewee at one of our intimate events in Brighton soon will be the composer Howard Blake, known for The Snowman, including Walking in the Air. His work also includes Flash Gordon and Ridley Scott's The Duellists. Details are at the-space.uk

Shaken and Stirred: The David Arnold James Bond Project, released on October 20th 1997, was an album of Bond cover songs. Among others, it features Chrissie Hynde, Leftfield, Iggy Pop, Pulp and Aimee Mann. Details on our event with David are at the-space.uk

Released 30 years-ago, on 8th October 1993, The Young Americans was the first feature film to have music by David Arnold, which included Play Dead with Björk and co-written by Jah Wobble. For details on our event with David as a guest, go to the-space.uk

The Snowman has connections to Brighton. The writer of the book, Raymond Briggs lived nearby. Howard Blake, the film's composer, lyricist of Walking in the Air and a guest at one of our events in the seaside city soon, grew up here. Event info is at the-space.uk

Bond fans view October 5th as James Bond Day, as the first 007 film, Dr No was released then in 1962. John Barry's score for 1967's You Only Live Twice had an impact on David Arnold, a guest of ours soon. He went on to compose for five Bond films. the-space.uk
