Unfortunately, the jindai moji still has a lot of proponents, and it only takes typing 神代文字 ハングル 'jindai moji and han'gŭl' into Twitter's search bar (twitter.com/search?q=%E7%A…) to find tons of Japanese people insisting the Korean alphabet is shamelessly plagiarized from it.

How do we know these jindai moji are fakes? 1. They are not used in any actual ancient document 2. They match the phonology of Middle Japanese but not that of Old Japanese or before 3. Ancient Japanese texts tell us that the Japanese originally had no writing system

These are known as 神代文字（じんだいもじ） or 'Age of the Gods Letters' and, yes, they are obviously fake. They are commonly mentioned in academic literature as a side note but no one has ever really taken their existence seriously, even the wartime government.

The bs interpretation of 聽 below is a great example of this:
'Phrenology for words, like the phrenology of the past, examines the mystic structure of characters and words themselves in an attempt to extract wider political and philosophical meaning.'

交雑で新種が生まれるというと、１つの種から分岐を繰り返す系統樹は成り立たないと考えるかもしれないが、系統樹はあくまでも長い時間スケールで見た近似的な表現。交雑がなくても、種集団には遺伝的に多様な個体が含まれるので、種分化のあたりを拡大してみると、分岐した時期が遺伝子ごとに異なる。

予算の都合上ちょっと遅れて発注し、この間２冊同時に届いた。勉強するぞう。
