Maybe I use this site differently than other pple, but in all honesty why like a post if no one can see that you liked it? Why bother? I thought that sharing what we found interesting was the point of this place. Is that not the point?? What is the point then?!

People often talk abt how writers must toughen up to rejection bc it’s part of the gig and I agree but I also think it’s okay to take a break from submitting if you feel soft and wait til you feel strong again.

If you ask me if I want a 20-volume set on the 20th century or fabric arts of the eastern United States or classification of reptiles over the centuries, the answer will always be yes. I will build another bookcase. I will build another house.
