Our great friend J.D. Campbell is on the mend from his heart surgery. A person with an incredible heart needed to get it fixed and he’s on his road to recovery. His impact for Indiana Basketball is irreplaceable and he was a committed comrade to us and loves that School and Program.

The saints stumbled and fell on their journey of life, just as we do. However, in the long run, they made the decision to perform holy acts as part of their everyday life. To live for God and for others.

But this does too:

The more people you have around you who want THEIR Comfort to be more important than the Commitment you need from them will ALWAYS cost you when you need it most.

There’s a place for the comfort seekers. It’s just not in your Program or Team.

Today would have been Bob Shine’s Birthday. He meant so much to joani crean and our family. He meant so much to so many at IU Bloomington Indiana Basketball and Indiana Football Bob had a work ethic at 80 that blew you away. He cared for people by ALWAYS going the extra Mile.

You need a minimum of 3 players that you know / trust can make the pass in these situations;
1. Short clock baseline/ deep corner inbounds.
2. Short clock deep corner / sideline / 3/4 sideline inbounds.
3. Full Court get it in.
4. Full Court length Baseball pass

The silent destroyer of any Teams culture is the person who sees themselves as PRIVILEGED and under a different set of guidelines than everybody else.

Some Staff meetings need to start today by remembering this. There is ALWAYS more you can do.
1. Change the Energy around your Team
2. Find two things on both Offense and Defense you can hang your hat on and focus on those heavily
3. Throw some curveballs
4. Change the lineup
