I wouldn’t call Amos Wekesa or anyone a saint but that brother deserves more credit than he gets for what he’s done for tourism in the region. It’s incredible.

- Better marketing and customer service
- More unique products
- Better Delivery especially up country

Dear Uganda Revenue Authority besides the religious, emotional, fear of curse reasons .. why don’t you tax churches? For Agriculture it’s understandable though not viable but what logical reason do you have for not taxing Churches which are actually businesses. I thank you

Anything that goes to the heart of business revenue & profit margin can be clothed as a tax issue, especially if talking about VAT

The problem of concentrated markets being everywhere doesn't invalidate KACITA's concerns

Solutions exist- e.g create e-tax booths to support them.

My brother, their anger at this is valid. But to clothe it in tax is a bit of a stretch. But also, given the very liberal nature of our economy, this is a problem they’ll find very difficult to solve. We’ve seen this play out in pharma. Some big boys have the entire value chain.
