IPEN: toxics-free As the treaty develops, we urge the committee to:
1. Recognize that more plastic production = more plastic pollution.
2. Eliminating toxic chemicals used in plastic production.
3. Ensure toxics-free circularity by preventing the use of hazardous chemicals in recycled plastics.
The fourth session (INC-4) of Plastics Treaty negotiations wrapped up last week, and for the first time produced draft text with pathways toward a global agreement. For more of ACAT and IPEN's

Plastic is highly flammable 🔥& the blocks have to be soaked in flame retardant to prevent fires.
