Happy Retirement, Frankie! Fellow fire and rescue colleagues gathered to give a Guard of Honour to Frankie, one of our Urban Search and Rescue dogs.

The 7-year-old Belgian Malinois received a round of applause and certificate alongside her handler Watch Manager Steve Carr 🐶🐾

Over the years many things have changed from the equipment we use through to our 999 emergency vehicles 🚒

Earlier this week we said goodbye and good luck to Firefighter Gary Richardson after 24 years of service 👏

FF Richardson retired from Birtley Community Fire Station, where he worked on Red Watch.
