Happening now📍: Gender Equality seal (GES) training of Makerere University 🎓staff. The overall objective of the training is to introduce & increase the knowledge & understanding of the University🎓 staff on the Gender Equality Seal for Public Institutions Certification programme.

Ahead of #COP27 , the Government of Uganda, UN Development and other development partners organized a pre-cop workshop on 10-14/10/ 2022 in Entebbe.

✅Prepare & validate the country's position paper
✅Allocate roles & responsibilities to delegates
✅Resource mobilize

This initiative exemplifies UN Development and Government of Uganda's determination on climate action as we draw closer to #COP27 , where global efforts on #ClimateAction will be harmonized and duty bearers move from pledges, commitments, negotiations and planning to implementation.
