Thanks to Japan's support, UNESCO empowered over 1000 IDPs and the vulnerable in host communities in Northeast 🇳🇬 with psychosocial support through counseling and sports under the Strengthening Peacebuilding and Resilience Northeast Nigeria through Education, Economic Empowerment

Japan has successfully provided vocational skills training using an apprenticeship model with master craftsmen/trainers, thanks to a good collaboration with UNESCO. Participants received start-up kits in a variety of sectors as part of the project 'Strengthening Peacebuilding...

With Japan's support, 106 IDPs &vulnerable locals received training in tailoring, barbing, shoemaking, poultry farming, animal husbandry, &catering for improved livelihoods under the 'Strengthening Peacebuilding and Resilience in Northeast Nigeria' project.
