Many parts of Afghanistan have been hit by devastating floods, resulting in hundreds of deaths, the destruction of thousands of homes and farmland.

Away from headlines, conflict and violence in Myanmar are dramatically worsening, including in Northern Rakhine. I appeal to all parties to ensure the security of civilians and humanitarians, and to neighbouring countries to allow safe access to refugees fleeing for their lives.
