Themed 'The Big Catch Up', UNICEF SA Rep Christine Muhigana highlights the importance of immunization #ForEveryChild .

''The Big Catch Up' speaks to the need to reach every child with vaccines so they're protected from deadly diseases.'

Fun was had and connections were made among 87 teens at the UNICEF #SportForDevelopment Training Camp within the Girls and Boys Education Movement (GBEM)👧⚽🧑.

As part of #AfricaVaccinationWeek awareness activities, UNICEF's #TheTruck 🚚 was out & about in the North West province’s Madibeng district.

Health workers were on the ground engaging communities📢 as people watched messages promoting the effectiveness of immunisations. 💉

Annual deaths of children under five reached a historic low, falling to 4.9 million in 2022.

This is a notable achievement, but more is needed.

Together, we can prevent child deaths by improving health services and families’ access to them.
