This morning at the Rebalancing Europe Conference, I spoke about the threat of unchecked monopoly power for services workers, and how our trade unions are fighting back against companies like Amazon (including by kicking out their lobbyists from the European Parliament).

This morning, at the Rebalancing Europe Conference, our Regional Secretary Oliver Roethig explained how concentrated corporate power harms services workers in particular, and how the monopoly power of companies like Amazon needs to be reined in.

Today, Gaby Bischoff 🇪🇺, Udo Bullmann 🇪🇺 & Marc Angel from S&D Group meet with Amazon workers and trade unionists in Frankfurt, Germany.

They hear about the increasing robotisation, the deployment of AI and the constant surveillance of workers in the company’s warehouses.

Today, in a day coordinated by UNI Europa, MEPs are meeting workers and trade unions in 4 countries to hear about working at Amazon.
